Æsten is led by director–producer Guillaume Dousse. For the past five years Guillaume has directed Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, an adult animated action-thriller for Ubisoft. The series is slated to debut on Netflix.

Before founding Æsten, he co-founded and served as Executive Creative Director of Sun Creature, steering projects such as the three-time Oscar-nominated Flee and the award-winning, Miyazaki-inspired Travel Oregon films.
